Ok, I've been talking to this girl for the past few months and now we have started pretty much dating. We talk every night, but the past couple of nights we don't talk as much, cause she is spending the night over her gay guy best friend's house. She said she doesn't want to talk in front of him for privacy reasons. On top of that, our conversations are less at night so she can rush to bed with him. She also said he makes her tea before bed, as if I needed to know that. Also they spend all day together since she's been back. I know he's been her best friend for a long time, but if you say you're dating someone, things change right? Should I be concern? It's just driving me crazy knowing she's sharing a bed with someone else, and I haven't even met him. Not to me to mention he's a good looking guy. Another red flag it raises is that I never hear him in the background, so all I know it could be another female. Yes it's weird to me too. She didn't tell me the first night, she just texted goodnight instead and didn't call to say goodnight. The main concern from your OP was that you've not met him so she could be using it as a cover story. Once you have met him you can find out if this is the case or not, and make some jokey remark about them being together or something, see what the response is. I don't get why she would tell you that they literally shared a bed though. Anyway, I've shared a bed with my gay friends before when they've stayed over too late to get the nightbus home. On an occasion you might share a bed with your gay best friend who is a guy but this sounds like an ongoing thing. I would worry too. It is not normal to share beds ongoing with just friends. I have to ask how old the Op and gf are. If they are 16 and sharing beds with gay best friends in parents houses then no biggie but if they are 28, and the gay best friend can't take a couch then the story is bullshit.
